Thought about creating a study group for winning players at 6 max 10-20-25NL who want to cut down their leaks, increase the winrate, move up but don't have sufficient self motivation or have a hard time doing it themselves.

I'm thinking we should be 5-6 people, maybe up to 10. Not sure how many is too many, or what the most efficient number is, open to suggestions here.

Methods : I want us to use something like Google Docs, an online collaboration tool where we can post formatted HH's, graphs, articles etc. in proper readable format, not the skype crap. We would all be able to see them and comment on them at the same time.

Tasks :

1) Analyzing hhs marked by the players with a set format for analysis (FTP's model is great for this I reckon). We should all express opinions and arrive to a conclusion

2) Reading strategy articles / watching vids. The idea is to do a read / watch a vid together then comment on it, share ideas, check our DBs for similar situations etc. This way we will remember it much better. A good idea would be to have a curriculum and learn one lesson / week for example.

3) Sweat each other regularly. Everyone in the group should be sweated at least once / week, and do sweats at least once/week as well. Perhaps have thematic sweats where we focus on implementing a new concept or fixing a leak.

4) Become a close nit group that supports each other through hard times, which we all know are always just around the corner in poker.

Timeline :

I want us to have meetings at least twice a week, up to three times, for 2 hours each. These should be at a fixed time convenient to all, and everyone should attend them. I believe this can force us not to slack off / be lazy, just think of it as football practice or w/e where if you don't show you get behind in training.

Sweat sessions should be separate from this all-group-meetings where we discuss hh's / strategies.

Requirements :

1) Be at least a 10NL player iwth sufficient bankroll, and have a winrate (before rakeback)
2) Be serious about doing this, don't want no-shows at the agreed meeting times.

About me :

Started taking poker seriously in April, started by beating 20NL then my leaks caught up to me, playing 10NL now my winrate is just 2.7 ptbb / 100 over 100K hands. I believe I can do a much better one, that's what this group is for.
