If anything, the 10NL 6 max tables are even worse, the amount of random play is incredible.

I look up the names of the players there, one of them had over $ 50,000 in winnings, what's he doing on a micro table ?

It seems that some players arrive with the intent of just being completely reckless, almost like they want to hang around a low stakes table and risk a couple of buy ins stinking up the table.

When it goes well, they can arrive, double up and leave in a very short space of time.

I can spend an hour building a $10 dollar buy in up to $15 then lose the lot in 5 minutes when I get my decent hands pushed to the river.

I am convinced higher stakes tables do not play like this. One hand I won, I had AJs, AJ on the board and I got my raises called all the way to the river. Villain had a pair of sixes, not even pocket, one of the pair was on the flop.

If he caught a 6 on the river, I would have lost a big pot, yet this seems to be the risk with any decent hand at this level.

My PT bell curve, it scores me as borderline "very unlucky" for flushes and straights.

Remember, I am fairly successful at 1/2 200NL in casinos, on these tables it feels like I am playing deliberatey reckless players.

I appreciate the help, though.

Well your 1/2 tables from casinos are way fishier than 10NL on PS. More like 5NL. 10NL is the stake on PS where you are starting to find lvl 2 thinkers. The fish are the fish, the bad regs are the bad regs but there are some players that know a little what they are doing .
And about the higher stakes tables:) They will look like maniacs to you. You rarely see flops. You have no idea how aggressive they are if they smell that you do not belong there. PLaying nit at low stakes just stakes it is just suicide.

what book are you going by? I've never heard of it.
conventional, conservative "ABC" nit play is what your talking about. It's actually slightly profitable against bad players (you could have fun at a 200nl with a bunch of drunk guys playing this style) but you'll lose money against anybody who has any idea what their doing. You should loosen up and stop focusing on "optimal stats". Do what works best for you and adjust to your opponent.

Guys, you know what ?

It really is as simple as this - I think I am a better player than I really am. Time to do some homework.

Watch this space...

AA, A in the flop, big raises to the point where we are both all in, the guy ends up with full house as I couldn't clear him out (my 3 x A vs pair of queens, he held on, queen on the river, he gets full house).

impossible

Playing lower stakes will allow you to up your PFR % but you will also need to open up your range of hands to pick up on and even raise preflop, It will also allow you to bet more with good PPs etc. and either get the competition out early or make them pay to see the board.
