Dear fellow poker players, I have a question. I have finally gotten my money together to play poker. $1,000.00
I figured I should take $200 for ring game stake at $1-$2 NL casino
I figured I should take $300 for ring game stake at $.50-$1 NL on-line
********
I figured I should take $200 for Tournaments game stake at $30-$50 Buy ins casino
I figured I should take $300 for Sit N Go's game stake at $10-$20, and low tourneys under $5 nuy in's on-line
I just started playing this year and this will give me a chance to play them all and see how I do and which game I am good at. I have played all of them before still don't know which one I like the most, however, got my ass served to me in Sit N Go's.
Ring games I like because it lets you play Texas Hold Em, Tourneys you are a coin toss half the time, blinds go up so fast. I need to learn how to play table games LIVE face to face, because i think the Gov. is going to **** up on-line poker so many rooms have kicked USA (Missouri) off now.

If I were you, I wouldn't pigeon hole myself the way you are. I can tell you first hand that I've played at a few sites and the opportunities for me to improve and win have been different at each site. For example, when I was able to play at Titan, I was very successful at PL Omaha but PL O8 wasn't. When I moved over to UB, I tried to play PL Omaha but I wasn't successful. However, when I tried O8, I found my groove. Sometimes, it's a matter of what the playstyle of that game is at the site versus your style.

i think medeiros is right on track with that. go with your gut and your paly style and what sites you seem to win the most at and what games you excell at. best of luck to you at the tables.
