You'll have to ask a full ring player, mate. I'm a 6-maxer. ;)

Well, I've scratched down TT+/ATo+/QJo+/JTs+ and sticking to that seems to work except every once in awhile ill slip up and cost myself more in 1 hand than I've made in the last 30 hands

Why not just play ACR?

Because they are likely the toughest cash games in the world, I wouldn't be surprised if 100nl on Carbon is equivalent to 5-10nl on WPN.

Not sure about this, but TT+ sounds a bit tight, and ATo+/QJo+ is a bit loose.
I don't even play ATo and QJo UTG in 6-max.

My 6-max UTG range is pretty much 55+/ATs+/KJs+/JTs+/AJo+/KQo.
Earlier positions 9- or 10-handed should be tighter.

FR you seriously need to change your range depending on position. Playing the same range from all positions isn't good enough, because there's so many players left to act. Position is sooo important, play super tight in EP.

This was a good place to start but the strategy given isn't enough anymore, but start here imo. (scroll down for hand range).

Thanks for the link I will definitely review it. I've been skimming "caros most profitable Holdem advice" so I think I will take notes on his preflop range advice and try a session following his advice, then try a session following the range advice in that link.

Will definitely study that link. Skimmed through it and seems to be some valuable information. Thank you :)

so i just hopped on to bovada and turned $50 into $65 without even really trying... like zynga has tougher competition... two full-ring 5NL cash tables for an hour, then played a $5 6-max SNG where the top 3 get paid $10 each...

is carbon anywhere near that soft? I dont really like the anonymous style of bovada, i like using poker tracker and such...

Yes, but your paying higher rake. I would say Carbon may be slightly tougher, but there are days where it is softer and vice versa.

It might be worth a slightly higher rake in order to use poker tracker. Although I like that my opponents have a hard time reading me without a HUD, I really like the way I track my own progress.

I'll give carbon a try then sometime then and maybe switch between the two when one has better action
