k not drunk anymore so I'll respond forreal. I see it's free so guess not a ripoff but that entire site just reeks of scam so hard it just makes me lol. So many has-beens who make their living at coaching now with absurdly unrealistic winrates listed.
So first you got krantz, where I'll give them he doesn't have any poker expertise listed but seriously it's doubtful he could even beat 50nl nowadays I mean nothing against him he's made money other ways but he's not a poker player now. idk who this sthief guy is maybe he's good but no credentials listed but somehow they're supposed to teach "applied game theory for leaks" and as someone who's actually studied game theory on a high academic level almost all poker players suck at understanding/explaining actual game theory concepts and I'm assuming this will be no exception. I'm sure they'll cover %'s you have to do shit to not be exploitable or something dumb that anyone with a calculator can figure out.
Then you have Jared Tendler. I honestly have no idea how good/bad he is I know some people vouch super high for him but some of the same people vouching for him being good continue to have the same tilt issues they had before. But is it just the bias that the people who pay him will have some of the worst tilt issues in the first place? I think there's definitely a bias though in people who pay big money for his services wanting to believe they helped. In general though I'm super skeptical of all that stuff about secrets to mental game it just seems like a huge scam to me and a way for articulate people who've read a bit about psychology on the internet to make money giving people good advice they already know.
Then you have yourdoom. The guy ran hot and used those results to make a ton of money off coaching. I'm sure he's good and like I said didn't realize it was free so this may actually make it worth your time but using those winrates to promote himself are super lol. He lists 11.52bb/100 at 3/6 and 9.72bb/100 as his 10/20 winrate. The site would also have us believe he completely skipped 5/10 as a "main game" which I have a super hard time believing given 3/6 -> 5/10 is one of the biggest jumps in poker right now. But if he thinks those winrates are his actual winrates I'll bet him a lot of money he can't beat 3/6 at 8bb/100+ or 10/20 at 6bb/100+ playing decent volume. Both are well below what he lists as his "longterm winrates". Again I'm sure he's good and I'm sure he's more than qualified to teach about "playing small pairs" just made me lol at the scam-like advertising they employ essentially making it sound like "this can be your winrate too if you pay him money for coaching!"
Then you have Gordon Gekko. Does this guy even play HUNL? He can turn a busto 4nl reg into a 1knl reg in 9 months? ****ing really? He's been around for a ton of 9-month periods now. How many has he helped? Why doesn't he have 100 students beating 1knl now? Most likely there was one guy who was pretty intelligent and had super good work ethic and picked the game up really fast plus ran super-good and Gordon helped him a bit on the way. Just the fact that the guy doesn't seem to play poker at all is sketchy as ****. So he's good enough to turn bustos into 1knl winners but he doesn't beat poker himself? lol?
Then you have claydoll. I actually talk with him a bit and he's a pretty solid mtt guy who's helped me a ton with my mtt game. But yeah midstakes zoom at 9bb/100? I don't think there's anyone on the planet beating it that bad and he's not even close to the best player who plays that game (assuming midstakes = 2.50/5). He's good at poker and does really well with mtts/sngs so idk why the need to use these sales tactics. And his topic is "secrets of nlhe"? Like seriously? I thought we were beyond that.
So yeah anyway just seems like they took a few decent poker players and let Jason Ho and slowhabbit do the marketing campaign. Again it's free so might be worth just time the entire site just reeks of scam and I'd be shocked if they don't use part of that workshop time to try to get people to pay money for future services.
