I ended up jamming but I think it might've been really bad. Was kinda running him over at that point so expected him to hero a bit wider than normal but even still he's going to have a solid amount of Qx in this spot I think and not hero near wide enough to make this a jam.

edit: he folded

I think the difference between jamming and vbetting 100ish is huge. He is going to be calling a vbet so much more often with his pp's and maybe ax, whereas a pot shove cuts his calling range drastically into basically qx because he just won't think we are ever bluffing as a jam there

(all vaccuum thinking)

This is seriously how the average 200nl zoom reg plays:

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BB with 3:club: A:club:
3 folds, BTN raises to $5, 1 fold, Hero calls $3

Flop: ($11.00) 4:club: 9:diamond: Q:club: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $7.87, Hero calls $7.87

Turn: ($26.74) K:spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($26.74) 9:heart: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

Final Pot: $26.74
BTN shows K:diamond: A:spade: (two pair, Kings and Nines)
Hero shows 3:club: A:club: (a pair of Nines)
BTN wins $25.54
(Rake: $1.20)

I mean it's not that the games are insanely easy but one major leak 200nl and lower regs tend to have is they suck at thin vbetting/bluffing rivers so their river ranges are wayyyyy too nutted. Obviously that AK hand isn't exactly the norm but in general they make rivers super easy to play.

Regfish at 50NL do this (including me sometimes obv), but to then hear that they still do it at 200NL! There's hope for us all - even you Ducky (maybe).

the problem with this though because river ranges are super nutted you cant thin value rivers, you pretty much just bet rivers and get folds

its a leak but I can see a lot of regs justifying by saying they're never gonna get called by worse since people are folding a lot to river bets

I mean I think this plus being paranoid of losing a buy-in (especially in games that play nitty enough it's going to take awhile to win it back) lead to what I was saying. It's still bad though and if people aren't calling rivers wide you should be bluffing the hell out of them.
