Hey guys, what are your thoughts on the technique (for lack of a better phrase) going south when playing rush. As it is probably known, you can just leave and come back in 1 second and not have to buy back in for the same amount. Do you see it as unethically to do so everytime you reach like 200bb, 300bb or is it just part of the game? I would never do it in a normal ring game but it has crossed my mind in rush.

When I was playing rush I lived to get deep. Once deep I became a chip vacuum. I am not sure why this is.

As to the ethics of ratholing in rush... Meh... until they make a rule you can't, I'd say it's silly to worry about it. No one can possibly know you did it, and everyone has the same advantage.

Thats my thinking but its still kinda bad to take money out of the game though.

Not why at a normal table, why at rush?

I believe at rush, if you continually just sit out eventually FTP will auto-rathole for you.

If people could never take monies off the table it can become a comical festival of megastacks vs shortpushers.

Let me run goot please. (See attached graph) As for going south on Rush I used to do it, but I stopped mainly because the play is so bad at NL 10 that I figure that by having a big stack I can take all of the other big stacks chips instead of just 100 bb's.

For the first time in a really long time, i actually felt like I was playing good poker last weekend.

I put balugawhale's "easy game" ebooks on my new kindle and reread both volumes, with frequent breaks to play short sessions with a reduced number of tables (6 tables at 9max or 4 tables at 5max). That felt great.

I really don't like much of anything about the 1st hand; for starters the CO is only 50 bb's deep.

2nd hand isn't as bad, but you should have a reason for isolating that player w/ 75s.

Just come to my breaking point for online poker.Before i left to catch a plane today i reveiwed my HH for life time an i'm running-12k an something below EV.Just played another hu match an lost to a 2 outer on the river.After seeing all those hands today then this here lately it's to much for me.I don't want to get in all the bs rigged,rng an so on shit but a long break is much in need for me from the online poker game.I have an have always killed the live games.I'll take a online break for at least half a year.I'll still post here on cc an maybe get a b&m monthly thread going here sigh it pains me but must be done.

Marginal is very sporadic with his postings. Marginal will make 1000 posts in a month and then disappear for 1 to 2 months. Marginal is not concerned. Marginal had to start at his new Job 2 days ago and Marginal has been busy.
