More likely he has a A3. River is a bet/fold however considering that the range you can get value from is narrow I probably bet river smaller. I wouldn't be betting more than half pot here. Probably 1.30 to guarantee a call from 99/Tx. It also saves us money when this nit slowplays.

Button is a calling station fish. I just don't feel like tangling with a fish oop w/o a hand. which reminded me, I raised because i was hoping the fish would call with junkier shit and the other guy fold since he is at least measurably nitty.

raising flop is terribad, your only going to get called by better and your making him fold his bluffs.( therefor losing value)

After I romped and stomped for 6 BIs yesterday, got nipped out of two buy-ins today! Money lost in river calls made up more than half the loss here!

I called thinking he might be trying to bluff me off AK, didn't think he'd slowplay Kings here (not his habit it seemed at that time) though arguably the board was dry? Call or fold? Folding seems overnitty here.

Notes: This guy is not positionally aware and almost never folds to 3bets (13%), just by this I should be thinking he only plays super ABC that doesnt even know position? In the hypothetical situation if he raises my turn bet(if i did) it's baluga theorem time isn't it?
Guess I'm asking this is because one would think he cannot strictly be calling 3bets to set mine or trapping only.

well played, one could argue that you should bet flop bigger and also bet turn for like 55%-65%. to setup an easy river shove. but on the other hand, because the board is really straight -friendly, i like the check on the turn in order to bluff catch the river(only problem is ,your letting him catch that free club if hes drawing to a flush). well played. keep it going.

Possibly a no brainer but I'm not sure. Shouldn't the Baluga theorem apply here? I disobeyed it this one time out of gut feeling that this guy is tilting. Standard turn call?

Note : BTN has recently lost his stack to fish in SB. He seems to be awfully full of himself with a lot of poker talk but it sounds like he just talks shit more often than not.
