...Not just because most of them are bad players. Its because most of them are bad players. When they're not luckbox call-stations that hit miracles, they're usually playing hands so bad its like they're just screaming the strength of their hand to you. "Hey, trying to be cute here with my monster." Also, dont expect a lot of them to be paying attention to the other players, just their hands.

Take this hand for example. I had been card dead most of the time, but I've been maintaining a TAG image. This is the first hand where I reraised someone PF.

Full Tilt Poker Game #4243680457: $2 + $0.25 Sit & Go (Turbo) (32198821), Table 1 - 40/80 - No Limit Hold'em - 21:49:00 ET - 2007/11/20
Seat 1: mojito grande (2,220)
Seat 2: Philthy (2,090)
Seat 3: NorCal_Poker (2,970)
Seat 4: IROD1125 (1,270)
Seat 5: LindaLou65 (2,185)
Seat 7: cchotolok (1,270)
Seat 9: Smooth702001 (1,495)
LindaLou65 posts the small blind of 40
cchotolok posts the big blind of 80
The button is in seat #4
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Philthy [Qd Ac]
Smooth702001 raises to 160
[...I hate min raises PF.]
mojito grande folds
Philthy raises to 400
[This is one of the strongest hands I've been dealt and the first hand I reraised PF. After playing TAG for 4 levels, I figured I have a good chance at taking the pot down uncontested or isolating the OR. Yeah, right.]
NorCal_Poker calls 400
[Cold Call...]
IROD1125 folds
LindaLou65 folds
cchotolok calls 320
[SB call with decent odds...not that bad, but OoP.]
Smooth702001 has 15 seconds left to act
Smooth702001 raises to 640
[WTF kind of raise is this? Stop trying to get cute with your big hand. Im 100% positive Im beat. It might be race if it was HU, but Im not going to push when Im behind. I can fold and wait.]
Philthy folds
NorCal_Poker calls 240
[Not surprised.]
cchotolok calls 240
[Not surprised.]
*** FLOP *** [2c 4d 3c]
cchotolok checks
Smooth702001 bets 855, and is all in
[Yep. Over pair to the flop.]
NorCal_Poker folds
cchotolok calls 630, and is all in
Smooth702001 shows [Jc Jd]
[I knew it. Thank you for trying to be cute with your min-raises.]
cchotolok shows [Ah 8d]
[LOL. WTF are doing with this hand? Didnt the PFR and PFR RR mean anything? Wait...this is a $2 SNG. Whatever...GGPO.]
Uncalled bet of 225 returned to Smooth702001
*** TURN *** [2c 4d 3c] [9d]
*** RIVER *** [2c 4d 3c 9d] [Kd]
Smooth702001 shows a pair of Jacks
cchotolok shows Ace King high
Smooth702001 wins the pot (3,620) with a pair of Jacks

Notes taken. I look forward to playing these players in the future.

Yep, I've been playing the same opponents, and it never ceases to amaze me that these people keep playing.

Still, if there weren't bad players sucking out and betting me off hands, there wouldn't be money to win. I make the mistake of assuming I'm up against "reasonable" players in these too often.

thats exactly the reason why I am following each and every player in these, figuring out who the donks are and who the sharks are, who the calling stations are and who the maniacs are

this https://www.cardschat.com/forum/general-poker-13/full-tilt-color-coding-system-98259/ is what really has helped me to do this type of player profiling.
