beetles....rabbits...amuletts...coins...elephants..medals..rubber figures...pyrex enclosed objects... fossils

when I've played in casinos I thought that the lucky charms were superstition, but some claim; that if not charms; they distract other players and give false reads too!

I used to play a guy with a bobble head protector that had a button you press that made it say something. ( It was a long time ago and I can't remember what it said). So many people complained about it and called the floor but the floor said it was legal because they sold them in the gift shop. It was definitely distracting lol.

I carry a roofing nail in my pocket, not just when I play poker. I've had it for about 15 years, stepped on it when I used to work contruction. Straight through my shoe and into my foot. I keep it as a reminder, and a good luck charm.

I found a ninja kitty charm online and it came with 7 additional charms. I lined them up by my stacks of chips at one of my recent home games. One of the players just went on tilt the whole time I had them sitting there. She said their beady little eyes were watching her. How freaky is that? She's not usually that weird. I thought it was hilarious.

i try not to read into the charms too much.. a unnecessary thought or distraction to draw away your attention from the big picture

I always use my zippo lighter as my card protector/charm. It was the first (of many) zippo's that I purchased. Got it at a garage sale about 5 years ago, and turns out the thing was made in 1967. Paid $2 for it, and have never bought another bic lighter. If it hasn't won me money at the table, it has certainly saved me money at the liquor store!

I've accumulated many good luck charms which I am 100% positive are essential to winning in a casino. a pin removed from my hand after fracturing my thumb, an autographed picture of Cat Stevens, a California raisin, an empty can of Copenhagen chewing tobacco, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle action figure (Michaelangelo). I need all of these on the felt in order to play.

I always wear a feathered boa and sing along with my ipod at the tables.
