Get into this situation on occasion and am wondering what the correct play is, if there even is one.
Playing 6 max PLO 5 zoom, folds around to me in SB, villains fold to SB steal is 86% so I always bet this no matter my cards. I flop 2 pair, do my standard c-bet, villain calls. Turn gives me the nut full house 8's full of 6's, and the turn also puts 2 suited cards on the board.
Villain is a tight reg that I dont recall getting into any big confrontations with so apart from the 500ish hands I have on him I can only assume he plays standard.
If I check is villain ever going to bet if he has a draw, or bluff to try and take down the pot? Will he also just check if he has the same hand as me or another fullhouse, to try and get a bluff out of me on the river?
My first action I want to take is to check, but everything I read about PLO is to bet for value. Is this a situation where I check to these types of players or am I losing more value in the long term by not betting?
