Has anyone taken a look at said lesson/challenge? I just think some of the advice is contradictive to the main advice given for these levels or is it just me? I think the main of it could get you in trouble an playing like someone the main advice you guys give who you are trying to beat all ends up.

I suppose you mean the first task, limping with a medium pocket pair instead of common advice to always raise?

The other tasks are calling with a flush draw, value betting made hands, and winning pots with suited connectors. Those seem standard, though I guess sometimes you should raise your flush draw, depends. At microstakes with many people who won't fold any piece and will pay off when you hit, just calling with a draw may be the best option often.
