It is easier to play with such players than you think. They give you a lot of equity with their reckless aggression. Wait for strong hands, but my advice to you is not to try to finish everything on the preflop, unless you have a monster hand. It is clear that the opponent has a wide range, but the luck factor has not been canceled, of course, your hands will always be ahead on the preflop, but a maniac can play any two cards, and against random hands you do not completely dominate.

Make a call on his 3 bet, put him in a trap a couple of times, then he will be more careful with you, do not forget to use this, 4 bet his wider range, he will believe you for a while.

The paradox: playing for a long time against a maniac in the case of the right strategy in the end, you yourself start to play too aggressively, and he begins to play with you only strong hands.

But most importantly, do not forget that any player ever comes AA, KK, QQ, do not forget about vigilance.:)

Playing against a maniac that knows how to play versus a maniac waiting to give all the chips away is a huge difference.

I would suggest first to make sure you do not become his/hers target or player of focus, because they will determine your weaknesses and often become relentless.
