I agree with this, plus you have the recreational players that havent even played 100 hands of poker it seems like. I wouldnt say bluffing is tough when playing live. You get a better feel for how players play and therefore can pick the right spots to bluff in.
Of course bluffing is possible with good reads, and knowing villain tendencies. However, I sometimes find it difficult to put fish on hands, because they take such stupid lines.
I c-bet bluff a lot live, and that works many times. When I said it was tough to bluff live, I was speaking about triple barreling.
The same thing happens when you actually have a huge hand. You blast three streets, and pan fry these fish. They call with TPNK.
Well, when firing multiple barrels, the same thing happens. They have an ace (TP), with a 3 kicker. The fish just can't ever seem to find a fold with TP. And because they play so passive, ranging them between draws and made hands can be tough.
Kind of a derail here..... but anyways that is what I think.
