holy shit!.
So 2 weeks ago i won a CC freeroll (kinda..3 people split the money) so i had $30 in my account after not having any for almost 6 months. I figured i would steadily play 2NL smartly and slowly grind to a decent BR.......
Than last week i got super drunk and was down to $20....took the $20 to a rush poker table....built it up to $150.....got drunk the next day....built my BR to over $300.....and now after steadily grinding if all goes well i'll be rolled for $25NL this weekend.....thank you poker gods....let November be just as sweet if not more so that way i can get nice christmas gifts

I just realized something tonight. I'm a huge luckbox at 50nl.

100nl on the other hand hasn't been so kind this year
Anyone have any suggestions for reversing the trend here? Would love to be 23BI over EV at 100nl and 30 under at 50nl. K thanks.
Yeah, it was a bad session and I broke out the EV line to make myself feel better.

I find breaking out the EV line actually makes me feel better. If I can see that I'm not playing completely sucky and deserve more than I'm getting I feel better. Probs the opposite of most lol. Maybe I like blaming losing money on something I can't control
Also just do what you were doing at 50nl, can't be that hard, surely.

It seems like it is very easy to run below EV but I've yet to see someone's graph that runs above for any substantial period. I've been running below EV for 40k hands:
