Hiya, I switched to cash games and would like your opinions on full ring or 6 max tables.
I decided to try 6 max last night and found them quite somewhat aggressive to say the least and much more faster. For one, I've noticed that the pots seem to be quite large on a regular basis. I played about 900 hands in total and I'd hazard a guess that at least 80% were raised preflop, so is this normal? I'v observed high stake 6 max tables and found they aren't anywhere near as aggresive and all-ins aren't anywhere near as often so I'm guessing it's just because it's micro stakes.
I can see 6 max being more profitable but also more costly at the same time so what's the strategy for 6 max compared to full ring? Also you can earn a hell of a lot more VPP's in the sessions so I'm tempted to make the switch to 6 max.
What are everyones thoughts or experiences on these?
