Limit has lots of dead money for the taking

I find Limit and No-Limit to be extremely different games. Many NL posters do not like the idea that players can call to the river in Limit games and then beat you on the river. However, this is what makes Limit games profitable - the fact that many Limit players, especially at the lower limits, are weak poker players. They put lots of dead money into the pot - money that is yours for the taking - if you know your poker math.

bluffing very little impact in Limit Hold'em, especially since many players call with weak hands.

I play both, with a preference for Limit, maybe because I am not too skilled at noticing bluffs.

Limit Hold'em? - Well, this ...)))

I do not strongly approve the limit hold'em, because there small bets are made, and opponents call the hand with a bad card and are expected to nat ...
in a word - COMES)))

The bluffs pass more frequently in NOLIMIT, so the game gets more exciting.

If your good and mathematically sound then find limit as high as 5-10 to 10-20

Finding these stakes may be tough unless you live in Vegas and know of a casino that runs this game if so it's tough but profitable as a smooth grind. Most of these guys would be rockish to a lil lag but mostly fundamentally good. You play from position make good bets and make zero mistakes to maybe 1. at 3/6 my profit margin is 85 bucks at 4/8 you would get a lil more at say 120 5-10 now is near 200 on an average night and 10-20 nearing 500 or more!! It's a grind a science and a different game overall and need higher stakes to make ot worthwhile longterm and lower stakes to have more fun.

When i started playing poker LH was my favorite type of game, unfortunately the vast majority of people prefer to play No limit and i had to transition to that game but if i could i would still play LH exclusive.

I think that no-limit poker, the Cadillac of poker, is much more fun than limit, which is basically a bingo game.

On the contrary, i believe No Limit is a lot like bingo in the micro levels.

As the title says, I have a question about limited vs non limited games. I see limited cash games aren't very popular, specially online.

Though I prefer this type of gamest because it avoids bingo plays, ridiculous all in, etc. Thus you don't lose too much money with a bad river card.

The game is more or less the same.

Non limited games are more popular, bluffing becomes more important. And maybe it can be more profitable, but it can increase the losses as well.

What are your opinion on this?
Online I'll play mtt tourneys nolimit but no nolimit cash games. Can't afford all the big stack blind stealers. Yet as you say. Hard to find limit cash games.

I prefer nolimit games, especially in tournaments. The game has more risks and more adrenaline, besides a greater variety of actions. Limit games are not the favorite for my bluffs! Sds!

I’ll play limit once in a blue moon. I can’t really get into it. Part of what I like about HE is the strategy of bluffing and hero calling in NL in a cash game. You really have to consider betsizing
When I get bad at bluffing /making bad calls at HE I switch to play PL Omaha There is less bluffing and cold calls but still has plenty of action.

I prefer no limit ... Because we can aggressively post-flop with middle pairs and thus give no chance for opponents to find their cards or straight or flush.

I hate limit holdem because it gives the people who never fold cheap calls for runner runner every single hand.

To me, it's a game for exactly those people lol no offense.. everyone likes what they like :)
I do like HORSE, 8game, etc where there's limit holdem..

I think texas holdem limit games had their glory days many years ago. Today no limit is the most widely practiced variant. But for those who like limit games there are still mixed games where there is some action. For example pot limit omaha which is very popular.

There are pretty nice Limit Holdem cash games on PS but I prefer No Limit because its easier to get someone off the hand by bluffing and on Limit Holdem you can't probably get that much value off good hands

For me, I only play no limit. Bet sizes are a huge part of my game and reading others at the table.

when playing online I like to play no limit. If I was playing live then I| would prefer to play limit poker. That way I could relax more with my buddies and enjoy the game. When playing no limit poker live then you might have an early night ti go home.

I'm just bored playing unlimited. If there is a smart card, then you cannot use it to its full potential.

good topic to post about
I actually prefer limit but online there is no traffic for the game
so I'm forced to branch out to no-limit or Omaha varieties

limit is the science of poker
no limit is the art of poker

I think in poker (how in life by way) good is variety... Therefore need try different kind
of poker: first of all, that to understand, what suits you best? This can only be understood
experienced way! My opinion: be best alternate no limit and limit games -- this learn
your brains switch, developed their... And at all, I'm for universalism. All will useful!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

When I have enough money, I play no limit. When my bankroll is limited, I play pot limit games.
