My wife tried to talk me into getting a plummer to come out and fix the leak.I explained to her rednecks do not pay some one for any work on the house.Rednecks can Jerry rig any thing,and if we can't we know a buddy who has at least seen the job done one time some what.If you need assistance you call your bud and pay him 1/2-1 case of beer depending on there level of expertise on the subject at hand.

This exactly. So far this year I've fixed my outdoor faucet, a leak where my refrigerator connects to the water for the ice maker, and replaced the overload/relay on my fridge when the lightening took it out. Had to call a friend for the leak but everything else was just a little internet searching and a desire to not pay a repairman.

And July sucked. Like 6 buy ins below ev and didn't play well anyways. Bleh. Of course I was blaspheming from the start. So Jesus, if you don't mind, I need to be forgivin for my sins so that I may begin sinning on a clean slate in august.
Also just found out that I'm moving to Mississippi. First bit of advice I was given is that a cracker is different from your average white person and you don't want to be a cracker. Any other advice for a northerner who has never been further south than New York?

Second terrible month in a row poker wise. Don't know what's wrong with me, it's like I've forgotten how to play!
I became much more aggressive for some reason and actually had a positive redline for once. Don't think this strategy works for me though, or maybe it's the stakes I'm at idk.
Back to being a showdown knit cos that's how I won money before.

Tell me about it, this months sucked ass, don't really know what to do about it either, am I running bad or playing bad, is it variance or bad play, its so hard to judge imo
I did get it all in yesterday on J33x with JJ only to see villain turn over 33 for quads lol, gonna have to drop 16nl tables soon as I hit like $308 yesterday, after my last 3 sessions going something like -$16 , -$36 , -$35. Way to end the month!
I think the way forward for me is either:
a) Play more tables and nit it up to eliminate spew
b) Play less tables to get reads/concetrate on villains more, trouble is if I play less than 8 tables of FR I get bored shitless and then distracted, ideally I could play 6 tables FR and tile them but then I would get 0 volume in and also probs spew more by levelling myself out of boredom.
Whenever I think like this the usual answer for b) is that I go to 6max and 4 table that to learn how to exploit villains more and do less robot 12+ tables FR style, but I usually fail at 6m and go crawling back to FR, maybe I just fail at poker.....
Maybe I need to just dust off the mental game and read it again
