Well I am the 6max nit. I think my stats run tighter than everyone else who I've seen post theirs. Not sure if I'm proud of that or not, but I should probably learn to loosen up a bit before I enter the low stakes (mid stakes - haha) thread.

Honestly, aside from R-o-R, BRM is only for the purpose of comfort. Most people who know anything about BRM will have plenty of BI's. Even if you're using a move up with 15 BI, move down with 10 BI strategy, but you're playing at 25nl, you'd have to lose in the ballpark of 40-50 BI's to actually go broke (so long as you move down as you're supposed to).

So R-o-R isn't the main motivator. The main motivator is comfort - to keep a balance between enough BI's so you play the most +EV poker possible, and little enough that it doesn't take forever to move up limits. If you feel super comfortable at 2nl/5nl, then just start shot-taking 10nl as soon as you've got like 20 BI's for it. Give yourself a 5 BI shot and see what happens. The jump shouldn't be too much of a problem if you're winning at 5nl tbh. But I've seen the statement "I want to wait until I'm winning at 5 bb/100 for my most recent 50k hands" and I frankly find that ridiculous. But anyway...

Biggest advice I can possibly give for moving up: Do NOT try to change your game. Start off with no changes, and adjust as needed. Don't go in thinking "I need to do A more and B less because limit C is different from limit D." Recipe for disaster right there.

Rigth now i´m shot-taking 10nl already, things go ok but still early to tell, but no idea about WR on 10nl/16nl/25nl this days so not really sure what to expect. I´m using the variance calculator to set my BRM, as soon reach the amount for current level everything above is for take shot. So i got 7BI at the time for the shot, hopely enough.

Well that was easy. Just deposited $50 on Bovada about 2 hours ago, opened 4 tables of 5nl and am now at 96 lol. Favorite hand was sixes full of kings over sixes full of queens hhaha love it

by comparison im not changing my game, or over adjusting just playing the same but without 3 early seats, however, i notice regs are way happier to splash money around which is quite fun for now... i get absolutely 0 respect so might have to bluff a little less i guess in some spots

Guess I forgot lol. Yeah honestly don't worry about WR at all. Just play your best poker, work to improve, and if you lose some, you can hop back down and get your head back on straight, no big deal.
