Dude, you already know it all and are ready to be a 3/6 limit pro. Don't make it a second job, you should quit and just make this your only job.

I played poker full time for 6 months when I was laid off some years back. What I realised though is that it starts sucking the fun out of it. Each to their own though but that is my only advice.

Good luck at the tables.

Simple answer my friend. No snd no.

Can you survive off 5-10$ an hour???? That is literally the maximum a person can grind out at 3-6

#1 rake eats up to much
#2 pot sizes are simply too small
#3 it's simply a drawing game nobodys folding there flush or full house or OE straight.
#4 a fine tuned limit specialist can crank out about 5-10 an hour. Its been tried many of times.

4/8 kill your talking maybe 15-20 if you are an absolutely solid player.

Play 1-2 NL you can make 20 an hour if your skilled.

Do yourself a favor and don't give up your day job. You ask if you can play 3/6 FLHE professionally. I did it, but that was back in the '90's. These days, from what I've seen, not so much. Back then, FLHE was the only game in town, and so the rake wasn't so brutal.

These days cardrooms, especially "captive audience" rooms offer 3/6 as a "courtesy" to those who are afraid of no-limit action. They rake the living hell out of these games. That's short sighted stupidity on their part. Sure, these fish don't understand how rake impacts their equity, but we're discussing recreational players who think range is where the deer and antelope play, equity has something to do with real estate.

However, you can't fool fish forever, and they eventually stop coming when their buy-ins seem to melt away even though they've been hitting cards. I would eliminate rake altogether from these low stakes FL games and give them a chance to win something, keep 'em around to graduate to the NL games.

So how can I beat this game 8 out of 10 times everytime?

That you would even think to ask such a question shows you're far from ready to do this. The only ways I know to beat 3/6 FLHE 8 out of 10 sessions every time will all land you in jail.

that's hilarious man lol. hilarious because it is true. Nobody beats 3/6 8 of 10 sessions hell I don't care if you were able to see the others cards it just cannot be beat plain and simple. Unless your okay with 5 an hour if that!
