No one likes tight players. Winnings regs don't like tight players and loose recs don't like tight players.

I am watching the HLC game with dwan and mr beast. Dwan started off with flatting loosely with quite bad suited hands. Then he stopped doing that for a while and folded like 10+ hands, then hellmuth shows his low IQ and says out loud "hey tom, it's like our seats are empty HAHA". Then mr beast asks them why they are playing so tight. And Dwan becomes anxious and nervous and defensive and is like oh but i had 85o and last hand I only had A6o etc etc. Mr beast is probably thinking "yeah, so in other words you are saying you are tight.".

I notice this often in all kinds of games, tight players don't like being called tight, they always get defensive about it. And I guess that's because no one likes tight players. Especially in high stakes games you won't get invited if you are just playing tight. Also later when hellmuth had AK and shoved preflop, mr beast folded and said "i won't reward you for playing tight and just waiting for good cards". But everyone at the table except dwan and hellmuth had been going all in almost every hand and they even call preflop shoves with hands like K8 100-200bb. It was just a complete maniac fish spew game but funnily enough Dwan and hellmuth ended that day as losers.

But after beast had said they are playing too tight, dwan started opening super lose. Dwan Limping 63o UTG!!
So it just shows how pressured the high stakes pros are to not play tight because ift they do they won't get any more invites to play at high stakes.

And in HCL (hustler casino live) they have actually banned a lot of pros from playing there because they make the games too tough to play in. It's like a mafia where the mafia of high stakes pros just ban all other pros who are not part of their high stakes pro family so they can have all the fish for themselves. They probably just go there to the owner and say, "hey if you want me and my friends to play here you have to ban those guys" and then they list a bunch of pros who are not profitable to play against.

So its just weird situation because everyone knows its best to play tight but everyone else knows they become unpopular among everyone if they do play tight. I guess even fish realize that it's best to play tight but they are there for action, not just to fall asleep before they get dealt a good hand. Mr beast actually said that too, he went all in with a pair of 3 on the flop because he was getting bored just folding so much postflop because he never hits anything.

I just think its funny how the whole situation is about playing tight and tight players getting defensive about it. And it's best to play tight too but at the same time fish don't want to play tight even if they know it's best, and they don't like regs who play tight and other regs don't like tight regs, i hope you see what i mean
