In normal life I am mainly a live game player. I do best in tournaments but actually like cash games more. Since the whole Covid-19 pandemic I was 'forced' to play online which I have been doing for a couple of weeks now. I play mostly 0.10/0.20 on 888 poker, full ring. Although I think/feel I have quite a good understanding of poker, ranges, equity etc., I am losing buy in after buy in. I know I must account for variance but after 5k hands I've dropped about 8 buy ins now and fear for where I am headed if I continue this way.

So, my question is this: is there anyone here on the forum who would be interested in coaching me for a couple of sessions? I'm thinking about hand history anaysis, maybe a live session via Zoom or something. Obviously you would be compensated for your efforts, we can discuss the price later.

If this is not the right place to ask, I apologize in advance!

Looking forward to hearing from you guys/girls!

I made the same transition from live to online. I wet my feet in November as a hobby to pass the time as live poker was still available. Since I wasn't taking it seriously I didn't deposit and just used the free $20 from pokerstars. I struggled at first too, losing as many as 5 buy ins at my low point and amazed at how I could hold my own at live 2/5 but was not be able to beat 2NL. It took me about 2k hands to adjust from live to online even at the lowest stake 2NL. I was playing live poker twice a week regularly up to 2/5 NL taking a shot at 10/10 NL and playing in some 2/5 games that transitioned to 2/5/10 or "The Rock" which are both effectively larger games. I've cleared 5 figures each of the last two years at live poker. I eventually made online deposits after the casinos shut down to move up and take advantage of the promotions, bonuses, and such. I can share my online DB results as well (91k hands from 2NL up to 100NL with average win rate of 7 BB/100). Although I regularly discuss poker with friends and associates in real life and online I've never officially coached before. If the more experienced / established coaches are too expensive or not available I'd be willing to give it a shot though as someone who has recently made the same transition. Let me know.

I still don't feel qualified to train cash for several reasons:

1) Language barrier. (I would like to learn English well).
2) Lack of experience as a coach.
3) Lack of time.
4) The most important, I am still learning to be a more decent poker player. In recent times I have been trying harder. I was always a very undisciplined poker player.

However, the future idea of dedicating myself to coaching players of cash is interesting to me.
But at the moment I play cash and I like to comment on hands that are published here, helping a little as much that I possible.
Greetings.
