I was in a hand today with regulars playing 2-5 (everyone 150-500bb deep) really live game with often straddle, dead 20 and dead 40's

Seat 2 had been bluffed for 1000 on the river 2 hands earlier with the bluff shown.

Mid position AKh
Straddle dead 20 dead 40

I open for 120
Fold around, dead 20 (seat 2) and dead 40 call
Flop 6-6-7 rnbw one heart
Check to me I C-bet 225
Seat 2 jams, (very unlike him) 1050 on top

I chose to fold here because while I felt I was ahead he could very likely be bluffing the best hand or if he has 8-9s etc. I have to dodge a lot of cards.

I play a high variance style but it is based around me controlling the power rather than getting put into a spot of full on gambling

I figure against 8-9 I'm 50-50, 9-10 I'm 60-40. It seems stupid but I still keep wondering if I should be calling here?

I just don't like putting 100+ bb in on a gamble rather than making a play
