About two weeks ago I happened to be on I-81 in Penn.,and at exit 80 is the Hollywood casino. I had a load going to a distribution center that was closed on sunday and wouldn't recieve mine till monday am. So there I was, payday being on Friday and 82.4 miles from my drop point. So what do you do for 43 hrs of waiting time when your a truck driver? You usually take a 34 hr reset to get a fresh 70 clock. I"ll explain that in another post for those that aren't that enlitened as to the rules that the D.O.T imposes apon us folks that keep America moving. Anyway it's a sat. and I shut down at the back lot of the Hollywood. I Go to the atm & draw $500. to play in the 2/5 cash game. It's kinda nitty so I change gears and go from playing a Tag game to a Lag game to loosen these nitty bstards up. I start raising almost every hand to $15./$20 bucks to get them to wet there chops thinking ?we got a "live " one (fish) here ...lol. Well here's some of the action favs that happened that night. I preflop raised with Q8 suited in diamonds to $25 is a crappy hand if ya'll miss and I know that but here's that action on that hand. I'm second to act and this guy Bobboy opened for the $5. I raised to the $25, and six ppl come to the flop with me. ( as you can see my stratagy was working about loosening these guys up). So here's the flop 8d, 3clubs qhrts. small blind checks, Bobby checks, I bet the pot $175.00 lol, Ted ( one of the nits) calls, and four others fold back to Bobby, He calls as well. Kd is the turn Now Bobby leads out with $200.00, I flatten, Ted folded. River, is the pretty little 2d SWEET!! now I got the 2nd nut as the boards not paired and no full possible. POOR BOBBY!!! He leads again with $200. And he now has only $575.00 left in front and I said to him Really? when he put's out the bet. I raise to $775.00. Now he goes deep in the tank as I tell him the following : "I think my two pair's got you beat, or maybe I got NO pair and I'm stealing!!, or you can fold and I'll show ya! Or you can call Bobby and risk it all on a guess!! ...lol I had him thinking hard when the dealer called the floorman over and requested time to be called on him. I held the table up and ask of them if they would give him the time he needed. No one objected. Finally Bobby said CALL... He rolls Ksp Kclubs.... Poor Bobby, and Bobby if your reading this, I'm coming back to the hollywood soon and we can play some more buddy. Prior to this hand I felted one guy and wounded another for around $1250 strange $ ... SWEET.. lol and with 73 suited. I think I talked him into joining Cardschat.(Bobby)... Needless to say I cashed out for $2760 above my buy of $500... Wish trucking paid that good...lol and did that in seven hrs.:smokin:
