Update on last days.

Still running bad in 2nl, last sessions been little better but still very fishy.
Total2nl

BUT, after reviewing and studying feel that mostly was having bad luck and some leaks that still trying to fix, so i decide to take a shot on 5nl, run couple tables
mixing with 2nl and notice that still was having bad results in 2nl but 5nl was doing ok. So, last days been playing mostly 5nl (4-5 tables) and only adding 1-2/2nl
tables if feel need a little more action and is working so far.

Just 5nl
Total5nl

and Finally out of the hole.

Totalall

Probably a heater but better to have it in 5nl than in 2nl,right?. Now need to keep playing and studying and hopely things keep ok.

I wish could play more tables to put more volume but tbh when reach 8 feel that some times make some mistakes because of that, so i try to keep only 6max.
My comfort zone was 10 in S&G´s, some times reach 12 ok, but in cash i feel need to keep it low because with more tables aside of bad plays i´m getting eat
by blinds and miss more steal spots or just get in trouble because not enough time to see all pícture, so at the time probably best to play less tables but try to get
the most on those.

Thanks K

Confirmed Heater, another couple buyins up, and again 1 buyin down in 2nl, so 2nl is gone for good.

5nl1

Hope to remember this when the beats after beats come later:)

Good to know, i don´t use Moneybookers that much because use neteller most of the time, but still have Moneybookers for backup so glad is just a change of name.

4 folds, Hero raises to $0.20, 1 fold, SB calls $0.18, 1 fold

Turn: ($10.89) 9 (2 players - 1 is all in)

MP2: $3.89
CO: $5.43
Hero (BTN): $6.12
SB: $1.95
BB: $7.23
UTG: $11.12
UTG+1: $2.93
MP1: $4.56

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is BTN with Q Q
UTG raises to $0.15, 2 folds, MP2 calls $0.15, CO calls $0.15, Hero raises to $6.12 all in, 2 folds, UTG raises to $11.12 all in, 2 folds

Flop: ($12.61) A 4 8 (2 players - 2 are all in)

SB: $5.09
BB: $8.19
UTG: $1.95
UTG+1: $5.07
Hero (UTG+2): $5.00

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is UTG+2 with Q Q
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.20, 4 folds, SB calls $0.18, BB calls $0.15

Flop: ($0.60) J 3 K (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $0.25, SB folds, BB calls $0.25

Turn: ($1.10) Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.84, BB calls $0.84

River: ($2.78) 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.33, BB raises to $6.90 all in, Hero calls $2.38 all in

Final Pot: $10.20
BB shows T A (a straight, Ten to Ace)
Hero shows Q Q (three of a kind, Queens)
BB wins $9.70
(Rake: $0.50)
I do think AT but pot was too big and we beat so many hands that could not fold.

Back in shape again.
Hand 4

CO: $5.05
BTN: $4.83
SB: $2.73

UTG+1: $13.32
Hero (MP): $5.00

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is MP with A A
UTG calls $0.05, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.30, 4 folds, UTG raises to $3.62 all in, Hero calls $3.32

Flop: ($7.31) K 3 7 (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: ($7.31) 4 (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($7.31) 9 (2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $7.31
UTG shows Q Q (a flush, Queen high)
Hero shows A A (a flush, Ace high)
Hero wins $6.95
(Rake: $0.36)

After that still get more action and ended positive.

LOL this made me laugh. Have to look back through the thread to see who you mean. I mainly only look at your posts to follow how you are doing. And apropos....Looking good!!!!! Keep it up.

I am now into my foray at 5nl. I am getting my first coaching session Thursday.
I will be playing around 1-2k hands a day maybe 3-4 days a week. In December that will increase to some real volume.

How many tables you play, and how long are your sessions? Also, how do you table select?

LOL, thx, and sorry about that, was not talking about this thread but byegones.

Good luck on the journey and with the coaching. I have the same goal for this month, playing 1-2k hands a day but been really lazy tbh. I play 5-8 tables depending how focus can be and how is the field. Sessions are 1-1.5hr usually, 2 sessions a day, but like say been really lazy.

About table select, i color code a lot, you can read my post about that in here https://www.cardschat.com/forum/cas...ner-cash-game-thread-200847/post-1798693.html

A lot of players think that because Stars player-pool is big you never face same players, but if you usually play same times, you will be surprise how many of the same players are there each time.

Ts1

Ts2

Ts3

Ts4

Also have filters set so only tables i want appear on the lobby, 7-8 players tables appear first, if see any good table jump in until reach 4-5, if tables are full already i join waiting list only if is 1-2 players max waiting, already will have some tables running so the wait for a couple more tables is ok if mean face some already known juicy players.

I'm sure your coach can give better advice.

I start to mix a couple of 2nl tables to try to increase volume, been ok.
Update

Not sure if start taking shots to 10nl, still a very lol example on 5nl and also aparently the jump is bigger from 5nl-10nl than from 2nl-5nl so probably will wait to 15k hands at least.

Nice work on the 5nl. Where's your BR at now? In my experience, the biggest jump was between 10 and 25, so as soon as you're rolled I wouldn't be too concerned about making the jump if I was you. Keep it up!

Have 30buyins locked for 5nl and 5-6 buyins for 10nl, playing 5-8 tables of 5 nl, adding 1-2 more of 2nl, so i could just cut to 4 tables of 5nl and open 2 of 10nl (that is how i make the jump before from 2nl), but is not about BR, is more about how big is the jump, mixed reads so far, some say 10nl is when games start to be little more tough, some say is until 25nl.

I guess i need to see it by myself, but i don´t think is time yet. Close to reach a $50 stellar reward, so maybe when hit that take some shots.
