I think you got super lucky that the As rolled off-- perfect bluff card.

I think you played it really good, your smooth calling on flop and turn made it look like you were drawing, and you hit on the river. It looked like he feared just that, after leading out on every street and then checking the river, or maybe he didn't have an A and he thought you did because of your PF raise. Its either one or the other.

TBH though, I wouldn't do this too often at those stakes. While LAG is great if you know how to play it, at those stakes people call too often to make it profitable. Its what Phil Gordon calls "the paradox of poker", certain plays are good only against good opponents, with bad ones, which you have plenty of at those stakes, they don't work. I'm sure you know this, you've played a long time.

I don't mean to criticize here, I think you played it great.

Out of curiosity, did you make this move because it was this specific villain (some kind of read you had on him), or would you have done it against anyone on that table?

His flop and turn bets were weak. Then his river check was weaker. At $10NL, you're lucky you found someone to believe your bluff. Most dime donkeys would call down 2nd pair here.

just now gettng to this, no I would make that play against anyone that I felt was weak. I thought he was extremley weak so made the play, if he calls then fine nice call and I make that same play with nuts next time.
