A couple of PF situations that i found myself in, both times facing a 4Bet.

Wasn't too sure how to proceed and would like opinions on whats standard here etc...

Villian in first hand was 11/8/4.0 over 200+ hands.

Villian in second was 19/8/1.5 over around 30-40 hands.

No other reads other than stats although i had pinned Villian in hand#1 as a pretty decent TAG.

I lay both hands down. Hand 1 is pretty obvious, tight nit 4-bet means AA/KK to me. Hand #2 is a bit tougher but the sample size is too small to get a really good read.

Pretty much agree with Jilly - the stack sizes made me stop and think for a second, but I don't think they change anything.

In the first hand, I tend to agree. The best we can hope for here is to be up against AK and because of your stack size, villain is effectively saying "I'll call if you shove" since it'll be less than a min-raise back to him if you do.

In the second hand the villain's stack size makes me stop for a minute - he's a little bit short, and that might widen his range just a bit, but probably not enough to make a huge difference to our decision. With better reads, given the stack size I might take a punt on this if I thought AQ or lower pairs were a regular feature of his range here. Readless we probably have to figure we'd be taking the worst of it by calling here though.
