I don't know, Misch. I'm just learning the game myself. I notice he doesn't raise or re-raise pre-flop, so I'd say he doesn't have 2 cards 5 or lower in the hole. So the 3 probably helped him, which is why he's raising on 3rd.

The fact that he's re-raising on 4th street suggests he has better than a 6-7, although he could be bluffing.

His 2 on 5th could have helped him as well. This might even be a fold here on 5th.

.50/1 Donk ? He could have litterally anything, from the nut low to wired 4's, bet for value here 80% of the time. He has shown no strength until 7th, so it look like he made a hand of some description.

The 2 was a bad card for you, it puts him ahead of the average range of donk hands, the 8 however was an excellent card for you and possiblly put him in a postition where couldnt fold an 8 low. Easy call/possible raise on 7th, but calling is fine.
