OUt of Interest Joosebuck, If you had not just lost a big pot before then would you have re-raised all-in with QQ preflop again?

I am not saying that its a bad play, its just that in the position you are in you already have two players willing to commit to 20bb - and hence are Very likely to get called by someone dominating you.

Nice win by the way

no. i didn't expect the other cat to come along for the ride. the ep raiser is maniacal as you can tell, so i was expecting to be HU with him. in hindsight i should've reraised.

I Guess if you re-raise after the $24 raise then you are still likely to get two callers. ( based on maniac calling anything and other person with probable AK)

You then get a flop of [3d 5s 9c]. This would put you in an interesting position.

Its wholly possible that Mike will Raise all-in with A-7 as he is a muppet. I guess you would call and beardoh would fold.

So you are likely to win less.......but I assume you can get away if an a or K Flops.

Slightly more conventional I guess - but hey you do not want to be conventional all the time. I think all-in preflop when you know that Mike puts a slightly different perspective on things. ( something I did not know )

Happy Fiance, I would not tell her  )
