I cost myself money

Here is my thinking, basically, i slowed down for thoughts i could be up against a set of Q or J, or even 2 pair QJ, now having said this, wouldnt i have been better off folding here given what i though i was up against, after i played the hand i felt so stupid,

I slow down for fear of set yet keep handing over money thinking i was beaten, if i was going to play this hand all the way, i really should have gotten all streets maxxed if possible instead of calling down, FOLD or GO TO WAR, am i right in my analisys of my stupidity?

I don't get it. You get raised once on a raggy Queen-high flip, and then assume your opponent can beat the nut overpair? Cap the flop, bet the turn... not sure if you 3-bet this turn if she raises... probably not, but I'm not a limit expert... however KK is twice as likely as QQ, plus AQ is possible. KQ is a funny hand to cap pre-flop, but it's to your advantage.
