Please be patient with me Okay? I am not really familiar with these hand converters since I don't have one. And since I am starting to jump in more of these discussions. I assume you are the Hero in this hand.?

Preflop raise looks okay to me I may have pushed it up one more BB myself since you would be the first to act after the flop.
I would have been a bit worried about the flop myself, any KQ would have gave someone the boat. Any AQ would have given someone the set. I like that fact that you pushed post flop though. But it was in excess of the pot. Maybe an overbet? But the Turn bet screamed weakness to me. It wasn't even a half pot bet. The river bet screamed even louder of weakness. 1/3 of the pot bet? So how did this hand turn out?

I think you overbet it after the flop. With the 2 Q's out there, and the flush draw. I think the better betting strategy would have been pot size bet after the flop and toned down a bit afterwards. I'd be surprised if you won this, I'd put MP2 at least on a queen.

PF is good
postflop, its a VERY dangerous board. People call raises with KQ,QT,QJ,JT,AQ type hands, plus there is a flush draw, so i like a smaller bet here and see what kind of action ensues. Someone is pretty likely to have a queen here.
the pot is at 1.60 and you bet 2.50? what is the reasoning behind this?
If someones got a queen, you've just committed yourself to the pot and will probably have to pay them off.
If they don't, or if they have a king, you've now scared them off with a
pair on board and an overbet coming there way.

I did win btw. AGainst two players, both with kings.


I had reads on these guys though. Both would raise if they were way ahead (ie flopping trip queens) and would almost always check/call to the river with top pair. Had I been raised, i wuold have slown down and probably layed the hand down. As it stands, i thought i was ahead, and was.

really...i did put the second player (who called to the river) on kings, but thought maybe the first would have queens with his push...

I have to agree with ChuckT and others on this one. No reason for the big bet on the flop. With that flop I am probably betting half pot to see what develops. If I am just called, I do the same on the turn. Several likely hands have you beat here.

I believe that your play after the flop was risky at best. I also believe that AA causes our to mind create scenarios that make our hand good when we really should let it go...in this case, that scenario was correct...CONGRATS.

This next comment is not meant just to you and I hope it doesn't sound overly critical...

I see a lot of players posting hands with questionable plays that they justify by saying they had a good read on their opponent(s). Unless this is B/M play, you have very little information on which to "get a read". It is even harder to have confidence that your read is correct on two players at the same time. Think about how few hands we actually see at showdown in order to get a complete read on how it was played. Then figure how much information has to be considered to fully understand why they played it in that fashion: what is the board, what is their read on their opponent, are they on tilt, did the phone just ring and they made a bad call?

Personally, I believe that we (yes, me too) poker players far overestimate our ability to read people online. We believe that we know how our opponents would play their hand when, in truth, we just have an educated guess based on minimal information.

Or maybe I am just bitter because I have lost so much on bad reads!
