I knew this guy was sitting on two pair or trips with the raise.. pushed all in right away and he calls... turn being the jack and hits a boat. I think I played this right?

Insta-fold preflop. From flop onward, obviously very bad luck, but you shouldn't have been in the pot to begin with.

why not? with me holding the straight aren't the chances of a boat very slim?

Huh? I said preflop. AT is a bad hand to call a raise with here because you're usually behind and often dominated by a bigger ace. Flop was fine and you got unlucky from that point on.

Yup, how do you cold call a raise with A 10. The gap concept still applies... would you raise A 10 in EP? Don't be results oriented premier... fold preflop.
