maybe i should sell my house and play the super high limits. I have been watching some at PS and its donkorama. Last night was $200/$400 limit and 2 of the 6 at the table were taking thousands upon thousands from the other 4. Serious calling stations.

Same thing on the NL tables I have watched, 1 or 2 seem to be good but the rest are just people with tons of cash or serious addiction problems.

wow nice pot for the other dude. i know you never want to loose with AA, but soooo many hands couldve beat that guy there. I dont see how you can put $70,000 on just a pair of aces.

That's my theory. Now the only piece of the plan remaining is to become one of those 1 or 2... then hello caribbean beach house!

Why, you think it was played perfectly on both sides?

There's more to take into account than just the hand history - table image etc, but I don't think these guys are some sort of infallible beings.

For a start, Luigi's raise on the flop seems pretty terrible to me.

well tbh, I think they're both miles ahead of us in levels of thinking regarding poker. It's not just a matter of raising with a weak TP after a reraise PF being a bad play, but the fact that it goes much deeper than this. I'm not going to bother trying to analyze their play since they go wayyyy past reverse reverse reverse reverse (you get the idea) psychology.

Even then, who knows, luigi could have just been tilting a whole lot and have botched this hand.

Maybe he was checking if magic had a high ace and missed flop.

bombjack, actually, its pretty much considered that PA IS an infallible being!! And his flop raise is a pretty standard raise for value in these games
