After a game dissolved from 4 to 2 people, Villain and I are heads up. Everyone within a 20ft radius considers me suicidally aggressive. The table is maybe 6ft long.
Down to 3-handed, I shot through my $10 buy-in (we started .10/.25) and some cash on top of that- my aggressive play did me in when a separate enemy flopped a full and slow-played it. I bought back in (short stacked) for $20. I've been showing a light 3-bet or two, and moved in with an OESD that this Villain folded to.
During the 3-handed portion of the match I raised preflop about 15 hands in a row, folded one or two, and raised preflop another 10 hands in a row. I stole most of the blinds and small pots which recouped me back to break-even for the night, with a few bucks on top to cover this Villain, but we are about even at ~$35.
My c-bet % is highish (maybe 70-80%) but lower when OOP. Villain c-bets almost 85% of the time in position, and 95% on paired flops.
Villain overvalues KJ sort of hands in full ring. HU, he will play small pocket pairs OOP, all paint, any Ax, etc. That doesn't narrow his range too much, but he has been folding to most of my preflop raises and letting me take his blinds. I've been raising a good number of pots preflop, but not as many as during the 3-handed portion.
Again, Villain perceives me as overly aggressive and bullying. He *won't* tripple-barrel me without some sort of hand, and *probably won't* double-barrel me (because I'll go over the top so often).
Stacks about $35+ all. My bet values are inexact, but close.
