How did I play this? Should I have bet out on the flop, turn, what do you guys think?

We all have just about $50 in chips , here is how the hand played out, sorry I dont have the actual HH.

UTG - calls
MP1 - Folds
MP2 - calls
Button - calls
SB - calls
ME (BB) checks with (2-2)

Flop - (8-8-K)
Checks all around

Turn - ( J )
Checks all around

River - ( 2 )

UTG - checks
MP2 - Bets $3
Button & SB Fold
ME (BB) Raise $10 to $13

MP2 reraises all in
ME (BB) Call

Showdown - ME - (2-2)

Difficult hand...I actually don't fault your play. It is easy to get trapped in this situation. Your way out of position which doesn't help, but consider betting the flop to see if anyone has an 8. If you get called you slow down and if you get reraised you know you can dump the hand.

Of course it is easier to type this response than actually implement in play. I would hate leading out into this flop. But it is an alternative to the limp, check, check play.

I'd have stacked, figuring he had 8/x, the x not likely pairing the board.
