Villain is 24/20/1 after 40 hands but with a 3bet % of 20%. He has generally raised all my SB raises.

Stacks:

SB with $69.20
BB with $56.25
UTG with $42.00
BTN with $79.65
hand.pl

Dealt to SB:A♠ Q♠

Preflop:
2 players fold.

Hero raises $1 to $1.50
BB raises $4 to $5.50
Hero
raises $6.50 to $12
BB calls [$6.50]
Total folds this street: 2
Potsize: $24

Flop: 6♠ 9♠ 6♥
Hero bets [$15]
BB raises $29.25 to $44.25 [ all-in ]
Hero
??????

Let me know if my PF play was solid here. I really felt like he was just trying to stand up to me and I wanted to 4bet (too small in retrospect?). I also felt with this flop I had good cbet potential since he called PF and hands like AK might even fold here (?). Maybe my thinking was off ... so let me know how the hand was play and what the play would be at his shove.

As played, I think this definitely a call. You have the nut flush draw + two overs, and you're getting over 2.8:1. If he is this aggressive, his range is wide enough that you easily have enough equity to get it in here.

I think you can 4bet a little larger pf to set up a flop shove.

As played it's fine though and we're ALWAYS calling that flop shove, this is more of a debate over what to do pf than it is post. And I do like 4betting (and calling a shove).

If he has been 3 betting you alot bvb then yea 4 bet looking to get it in preflop and this flop is obviously a snap call.

I generally like 4 betting to at least 2.5x the 3 betters raise. It gives you some extra fold equity, but still gives him room to shove with his bluffs/worse hands and allows you to not commit yourself if your 4 bet bluffing. I like your cbet size on the flop btw.

RESULT: I did make the call ... he turned over AA.

Turn Bricked, River was an A, -$50.
