Villain is a 56/11/27%(1.8) over 50 hands.
Fold to C-bet = 55% (6 of 11 flops)

Thoughts on my line? Half pot the turn as well, and check back the river?

CO: $7.75 (15.5 bb)
BTN: $110.40 (220.8 bb)
SB: $55.28 (110.6 bb)
BB: $150.78 (301.6 bb)
Hero (MP): $72.25 (144.5 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is MP with K K
Hero raises to $1.75, 3 folds, BB calls $1.25

Flop: ($3.75) 7♠ A6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3.05, BB calls $3.05

Turn: ($9.85) 3♠ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($9.85) 9♠ (2 players)
BB bets $4, Hero calls $4

There's definitely room for a second barrel for value here. I prefer to bet the turn and check back river (possibly even value bet depending on how much of a showdown monkey he is) with all the draws out there.

Totally agree with Chuck. Bet the turn and check the river. I'd bet more than half pot, too. Maybe 3/4.

Nice hand.

The villain’s stats make me think he decided early on that he would play it all the way out to the river as long as you didn't overbet.

A progressively higher bet on the turn could have slowed the guy to at least think more before placing another bet from the front on the river. But I don't think that would have produced much of an advantage once you were there, because I still think he make a choice of playing it to the end.

Best move was to keep your advantage of position going into the river, and let him think you don't have much either. Thus letting him put in on the river first and give you 1 more look at what he might be playing while he still thinks you are limping. There is still a lot out there for the villain, but I think you played it right for the max value.
