You think overlimping is dumb? Seriously, where do you people come from? Tell me, just what exactly is dumb about limping sometimes right here? Hmm?
Limping turns this 99 into a 3- or 4-way setmining hand while we're MILES ahead of UTG's range and should be raising for value, so we can pummel him HU.

99 as the second one in the pot with a bad player, is not an overlimping situation.

I am sorry, but I don’t get all gitty when I see 9’s and think bloating the pot sounds like a wonderful idea. On the other hand if I were to flop a set that would be great! If others came on board like you said, EVEN BETTER!!! So tell me, what is wrong with getting set again, ya lost me there? Cause I don’t give a spit for a single pair of 9’s in cash games.

If you raise, you're probably winning the hand 70% of the time.

If you limp, you're playing to hit a set and win it 15% of the time. THAT's what's wrong with limping.

You are only winning the blinds, we aren’t chasing after blinds in cash games.

Right, because UTG's stats so far indicate he's likely to fold to our raise. I'm aiming to get this HU in position with a hand that crushes his range.
