First hand at the table, I don't HATE how I played it but could maybe have slowed down, IP i would have but OOP it sucks. Only thing I think I would have done different is check/call river...

What range are you putting villain on?
I know it's the microstakes, but against an unknown I still don't like to just assume he's going to be a brainless fish.

It seems to me that by the turn there really isn't much you're beating that should have bothered to call the flop. You beat KK and QQ, but they might well have 4-bet pre. Otherwise you beat KJ, QT and maybe 77-99 would have stuck around as well?

I may be missing something but I'd check/fold the turn and if I do get to the river, get it in then.

c/f the turn just seems really bad to me, c/c maybe but then what do I do on the river?

The turn IS the decision point, as it's where I commit myself. I'm betting or calling AI on the river no matter what.

(So I basically solved just solved this spot with everything below so I'm gonna white text it so other people can think about it, thanks for making me put it through stove, it's the first thing I should have thought of).

Stove time:

If I'm putting him on a preflop range then it's something like this and I'm crushing it:

Board: Ah Js 4h

Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied

Hand 0: 70.087% 64.83% 05.25% 37870 3068.00 { AsQc }
Hand 1: 29.913% 24.66% 05.25% 14404 3068.00 { QQ-77, AQs-ATs, KJs+, AQo-AJo, KQo }

Stoving the turn, if he drops all his under pairs then yeah I'm crushed, and I didn't think just how crushed:

Board: Ah Js 4h Tc

Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied

Hand 0: 29.813% 19.39% 10.43% 290 156.00 { AsQc }
Hand 1: 70.187% 59.76% 10.43% 894 156.00 { QQ-JJ, AQs-ATs, KJs+, AQo-AJo, KQo }

Even if he calls with the entire pre-flop range I'm flipping now, and this doesn't even include if he slowplayed AA/
KK/AK.

So a c/f turn really is best which sucks, eh what you gonna do.
