€4 NLHE 6-max: How should I play this flush draw on paired board?

I raised my AQ diamonds UTG. Two players called. On the flop, I made a small bet to see if somebody has K in their hand. BTN probably has because he raised. Because I had a flush draw, I called. Turn, I check because I didn't get a diamond, BTN check. River, I check, BTN bets and I fold.

The main question is that, did I make a mistake by cBetting on the Flop OOP against two opponents? What is the general strategy to play paired board in situation like this?

Because you were out of position and the board was paired, I think it would be best to check the flop.

I think, the C-bet is fine. Maybe you could go a bit smaller, since it is a fairly static board. However when you get raised, I prefer to just let it go. You are not getting a good price, and drawing out of position on a paired board is not great. He could have a boat already with 77, and even when he just have trips, he will make a boat later some percentage of the time. Like river is Jd, and you lose to KJ or K9.

Playing flush draws on paired boards is always tricky. You could already be drawing dead. I will rarely play for stacks in that situation.

I see that you always open 3bb with strong hands out of position. Be sure to vary the opening sizes, so as not to arouse your rivals.
Important the rise of the villain in the flop, probably wants to make you believe that he is willing to fight for his raffle, when in reality we can expect monster hands (sets or full house).
We are simply below, keep in mind that any pocket pair becomes exploitative for the villain.
The fold in the flop is not bad, if we sense the strength of the villain with his re-raise.

Villain can have a few things on the flop- a 7, a pocket pair 33-66, 88-TT, or a King (KT+).

You bet out flop to defend your hand, which could be the best here. You probably could bet smaller and still get the job done. I might fold to a raise here.

It depends on your opponent, but a raise here isn't always a king. 7s or pocket pairs will be more inclined to raise looking for a fold out of you. Hard for a lot of Ax hands or draws to call here, which is what you have.

You could look at a bluff on the turn to get him to fold some better hands.

To an all-in shove, he never folds a king or a house, but he will fold those pocket pairs... 33-66, 88, TT, and his 7s, 67 and 78. That's 60c.

He calls with AK, KQ, KJ, 77, 99... 28c, or 31% of the time. If he calls with that range on the turn, you still suck out around 13% of the time.

I ran the numbers and you were + EV here, 17 BBs. Interesting to think about.
