$4 NL HE 6-max: BB resteal vs fish

My main question for this hand is did I play any part of the hand right ? lol
I'm up against a fish on the BTN who has a tendency to steal quite a lot. I think I should be playing this hand.
I'm pretty sure my mistake preflop was not raising because I think it would have ended the hand right there. (Even though his stats say that he hadn't folded to a 3bet up until then).
On the flop I think it I should have either folded or raised, would you agree ?
On the turn I was again going for a check call after hitting a king and having a FD
On the river I definetely think my hand is good after seeing him check on the turn and having seen him turn over some pretty silly hands in similar spots. To my surprise he insta minraises. I'm really not sure what to think he has here but I sure think he would raise bigger with a straight or set.
What do you think ? How could I play this hand better ?
KTs is just in my range raising against fishy limpers on the BB but out of my 3 betting range so I really wasn't sure about this hand from start to finish. Does that sound right ?
