This is $30 NLHE

Was just thinking about this hand I played yesterday and on review I think I should have overbet jammed the river since I highly doubt he can fold an Ace but there's a chance he may not raise with an Ace. So is this a good spot for a massive overbet?
Villain is a huge fish, his stats were 74/2 , 58% fold to cbet and 43 AFq over 86 hands

I donk the flop.

As played I like your bet size. If hes bad enough to call an overshove hes gonna raise the river with trips. This way we get calls from shit pairs as well.

Why do u donk the flop? I went for the check-raise as it gets more money in and if he has an Ace he's not folding. Maybe a check raise would get the pre flop raiser off an Ace but I think if we're gonna win a big pot it's more likely going to be from the fish anyway so should concentrate on him.

Because we dont need to get money in. Pot is big enough to get stacks in before the river, from all but MP. I dont like it being checked round 4 handed and if someone has an ace they will call anyway.

Yah I agree with your good mate, this is probably a shove on the flop or turn. Most likely the turn I maybe raise to 10 big blinds and then shove the turn when I get the full house on the turn. Chances r he is going to pay you off if he got the trips on the turn. A fish isn't laying that down
