$2 NLHE Full Ring: Trips on turn, wet board vs maniac in EP who reraises & shoves (2NL)
Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 58/26/3.5
The villain is a maniac donk (58/26/3.5) and I flop TPTK in position. My first mistake (I think) is only calling his tiny bet w/ such a wet board. At the time I figured I'd call him now plus his inevitable bets to the showdown if I didn't improve. But happily I then made trips, raise, and call his 3bet. I was thinking he had a pair, maybe a worse set, and was leading me along w/ his small bets. I didn't see him betting either a FC or SD.
But looking back my bet sizing might have been was off here: $ 0.32 was probably not enough, no? And I'm also thinking I should have just stacked him just stacked him w/ a 4bet. Thoughts? The river brought a blank, and he shoves. Hmmm.
The problem for me is putting him on a hand. He could have AJ, AQ, QQ, JJ, KT (though less likely), and hell, he could have had TT and been drawing ... or he could have had 72o. How do you put someone like this on a hand? and as played, how do you respond to the river all-in?
