Ok so I feel that I way overplay AK after the flop when it misses but when I was going through my hands I came across this one and I just want to make sure that the re-raise and then the all-in call is correct here. No stats at all on villian this is the one and only hand I have played with him.

Poker Stars - $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em (7 players)

SB: $1.91
BB: $7.73
UTG: $1.97
MP: $0.85
MP+1: $2.40
CO Hero: $5.09
BTN: $2.11
Conde Cero - Sitting Out

Pre-flop: ($0.03) Hero is CO and dealt :kd4: :ad4:
UTG folds, MP calls $0.02, MP+1 raises $0.10, Hero raises $0.40, 4 folds, MP+1 raises $2.30 (All-in), Hero calls $2

Flop: ($4.85) :5h4: :kc4: :5c4: (2 players)

Turn: ($4.85) :5h4: :kc4: :5c4: :10h4: (2 players)

River: ($4.85) :5h4: :kc4: :5c4: :10h4: :2s4: (2 players)

And since I only get 7 posts a day for the next week or so here is another AKs from late posistion that I would like some input on. I re-raised enough to put the first caller all-in but I am not sure if this was the proper play or not.

The stats on the two villians are:

MP - 35/5 over only 17 hands
MP+2 - 11/11 over the same 17 hands

Pre-flop: ($0.03) Hero is CO and dealt :kd4: :ad4:
UTG folds, MP calls $0.02, MP+1 folds, MP+2 calls $0.02, LP folds, Hero raises $0.15, 3 folds, MP calls $0.13, MP+2 raises $1.01 (All-in), Hero raises $1.76, MP calls $1.06 (All-in), Hero returned $0.70

Flop: ($3.48) :4s4: :10h4: :10d4: (3 players)

Turn: ($3.48) :4s4: :10h4: :10d4: :jh4: (3 players)

River: ($3.48) :4s4: :10h4: :10d4: :jh4: :8h4: (3 players)

And the last one is the one I feel I butchered the worst. This was again AKs from the button. I think my PF raise was pretty solid but I think with that raise I should of lead at the flop with a .70c bet. Betting the flop would have made the next two decisions much easier imo. The river call was the part I was very unsure about and still am. MP stats are 48/31 over 77 hands so I felt like his range was so huge that my A might be in the lead a decent amount of the time but I really dont understand these stats that much so I could be way off.

River: ($0.90) :qc4: :9d4: :4c4: :3d4: :ad4: (3 players)

Ok one more and then I'm done. This time I had AKs in the sb and feel like my PF raise was a little small but I think it was ok in this situation. The villian was 42/14 over 44 hands and I was really lost here.

Hands 1 and 2 are standard imo. Shortys making weird back raises is usually hands like 77-TT that they don't want to fold pre.

Hand 3 I probably cbet the flop even against 2 villains but once you check the flop checking the turn is probably fine and I'm calling the river 100%. Although a case can certainly be made for raising I don't like the fact that the maniac checked twice (these types are quite often opposite players who check their strong hands).

Hand 4 raise more pre (~.16). As played I call the flop min raise and lead again on any spade/A/K turn. If we were only 100bb deep I'd probably just ship over the flop min raise but we're just too deep for that here. Are you buying in deep or just winning to get deep? I'd recommend buying in for 100bb and leaving the table when you get to ~300bb or so. Playing deep is very different and take much more skill than you probably have at this point.

Hes probably buying in deep. At 2nl on stars you can buy in at all tables up to $5.00.
