So I am not so good at discussing hands of others so give feedback. But I try.
With his raise on your bet you have to re-raise here in any case.
Especially on NL2 we want to get as much value out with our best hands as possible.
And he is clearly signaling that he has at least one draw that he wants to continue to play.
So we reraise his raise on the flop and barrel on the turn. Best is to reraise his raise so high that you get everything in on the turn.

The only time you slow play stuff is when the board is dry enough that you aren't going to get drawn out on. When 2 hearts were on the board on the flop and the Villain check-raised you, I would have come right over the top at that point. The only things that have you beat at that point are KK and TT. Everything else is either a worse hand (2 pair, top top, etc.) or a draw (e.g. the hearts, QJ, AQ, etc.). Even if the V has AK or AT you are hosed if another K or T shows up. Bottom line, you do not want him drawing to a hand that could get worse easily.

That said, with the call on the flop and no heart or straight card on the turn, that is still a time to take it down. With his 1/2 pot bet, I would have raised that right there. Seeing a heart, A, Q, K, T could all be bad news for you. That's a ton of outs that can hit on the river.

Take it down -- either on the flop or the turn.

I'd just come over the top on the flop. He wants to gamble, you've got a strong hand. If he had KK or TT he might three bet pre. So let's rock and roll.

Raise either on the flop or turn, especially since you don't have h blocker.
