This hand was well played. We haven’t raised preflop or flop/turn and villain gave us price to continue. If it comes an ace OTT or OTR we could’ve taken all of villain’s stack.

Normally we should not be results oriented in poker, but in this case we actually should. Because the fact, you were able to get to showdown and win against AJ, means, that obviously he did not always have a better hand, when he 3-bet pre and bet flop and turn. And since he gave you a good price on all streets, folding would have been a mistake.
