I sometimes watch these high stakes matches to see if I can learn something. Mostly not. But today, Freedom25 (SB in this hand) made a river check that fills me with complete awe.

Checking the river when the board paired virtually screams out "my flopped two pair were just counterfeited" that if Button's range is weighted towards PP's (and I think it is) and A5/K5, he will almost certainly bet when checked to and SB can gain a checkraise.

It's a thing of beauty.

Stacks:
- BTN with $146648.50 - SB with $80954.00

Beautiful indeed.

I often watch the high stakes games, more so with FLHE lately, to see what I can take in. I once heard a quote, and damned if I can find it, that went something like "Read lots, study lots, watch the master lots, and play a little" (about progressing in poker).

As a sidenote, watch how he caps the flop. This is for future fold equity, not for value.
