This session I'm running 20/10/1.5, villian is 40/0, no aggression factor at this point, but only 2 orbits of info.

Does his call on the flop always mean a Q? Are we shutting down entirely at this point, or calling a small river bet?

Yeah I'll usually call a smallish river bet here as I think we'll see med/small pairs play similarly, and maybe even ace-high if he's really bad. Kinda depends on villain's tendencies and how aggressive he's been in the past.

If I remember correctly, he slightly overbet the pot.

I was about 2-1 in favour of folding and did so. Definitely possible he was bluffing given my turn check, but over the course of the session he still showed virtually no aggression which leads me to think that I was beat here. 1/2 pot or less bet from him and I would have called.

you need to bet about 1/2 pot on turn, if you get a call you can presume he has a queen and check fold river, that avoids this situation with him leading out with a bigger bet than what you would have bet on turn. I say you should call to find out, it seems to much of a bet for it to be a value bet, he may be holding an ace
