I have flopped a nice set against an unknown opponent, since I just sit a the table. Guess the bet on the flop was a bit low now that I think about it. On the turn I fire a bet about the size of the pot and he reraises. Is the all in seems like a good idea to you or should I had reraised him a bit lower ?

TIA,

A bigger flop bet, as I think you've already recognized, makes your turn all-in less scary.

As played, I don't think there's a smaller re-raise you can make on the turn, even going to 2.5x his raise gets you to $8.50 leaving only $1.10 behind, which you're obviously going to shove on the river, so if he folds to $9.60 he's almost certainly going to fold to $8.50.
