Well played sir. Nit-picky suggestions below:

4-bet to at least 2.5x his raise. So $2.50 would be my standard. Also, realize that if he 5-bets, you need to call it off.

You can also possibly shove the river for value. I doubt that anyone would check trips/a boat here on the river, so his range is something like:

{AsQd} 66.67%
{AQ, AJ, QJ, JT, AT} 33.33%

But that's a pretty thin v-bet, and I wouldn't hate you for checking this back.

Also, calling the 3-bet preflop should be in your repertoire, but I'd like a stronger hand than AQo before I start doing that.
